- I grew up in the home counties around London during the 50's and 60's. Went to several art schools including Southend ,Chelsea and Manchester. Trained as a painter and printmaker but now mostly using collage. Collect novelty songs and old mail art amongst other things too numerous to mention.

Thanks for the link CM. Quite afew photos of this event/exhibition on Facebook and Flickr. Looks like a nice show though not sure how representative it is of the mail art network as I know it. How does the Stendhal Gallery make its money I wonder?
Not sure about the gallery $$$$ etc. I do know held was putting himself out there in putting the show together, although picasso did also go to set up. Sure it was a good portion DaDa/Fluxus.......it also seems I see Ruud J around a lot.
p is still a free spirit, the others mentioned I can take or leave. Their egos and wanting everyone to know where and what they do in relation to the big picture has always left me, well, in simple terms, I could care less.
